Tweaks->SR2RebootMenu = returns main menu from SR2: Reboot (also this mod significantly accelerates the launch of the game itself) Tweaks->SR2Balance = balance from SR2: Reboot (armor, equipment characteristics). Keep in mind that content that depended on pirate clan becomes unavailable (quests, weapons, hybrid droid and stuff) Tweaks->BlockPirates = turn off pirate clan. If you'll download modpack "Universe" here, you could turn on these mods: In SRHD they really messed with the formula to "add challenge" so that instead of it being a cakewalk once you get to a certain point (even though that actually made some sense in the game), the enemies get adjusted so that they put up a fight until the end (sort of - you'll still dominate (heh) due to the top-tier weaponry still kicking ass - but you'll still have to do a lot of fights yourself, as opposed to the other rangers effectively clearing the galaxy for you once "the tide turns" so to speak).įor now, there is no way to completely turn SR HD: A War Apart into SR2: Reboot by one click. The main stuff - apart from removing the pirate clan, which is already in a mod - is stuff like the old "special" ships - which is also in a different mod AFAIK - and then there's the many formulas to how things work, mainly aggression/strength of dominators. Most of it (the "main game" stuff) should be in CFG//eng/lang.dat (in SRHD at least). I'm also not 100% sure where that code would be, or if it's even in the same place - and it's spread out a bit in the files I believe. I have no idea how similar the two are, so you may have to manually convert the code. Then, you could extract the formulas/code for SR2:reboot, and translate it into the SRHD version. If you find some older versions of modding tools, maybe there exist some for SR2: Reboot?
